Invitation

We are pleased to invite you to the FEBS Advanced Lecture Course: PARP2027 – Decoding ADP-ribosylation: Mechanisms, Networks and Disease , which will take place May 9–13, 2027 in Visegrád, Hungary.

PARP2027 is an international scientific conference dedicated to PARPs and ADP-ribosylation, a rapidly advancing field that spans the full innovation chain from fundamental molecular mechanisms to clinical applications. Building on the success of previous PARP meetings, the conference will bring together leading researchers from around the world to discuss the latest discoveries and emerging directions in PARP biology, therapeutic targeting, and disease relevance.

The conference is organized by Orsolya Leidecker (University of Cologne, Germany) and Gyula Timinszky (HUN-REN Biological Research Centre, Hungary), together with an international organizing committee including Nicola Curtin (Newcastle University, UK), Françoise Dantzer (Strasbourg University, France), Dmitri Filippov (Leiden University, Netherlands), Giovanna Grimaldi (National Research Council of Italy, Italy), Hana Hanzlikova (Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic), Michael Hottiger (University of Zurich, Switzerland) and Ivan Matić (Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing, Germany).

The primary goal of PARP2027 is to foster intensive scientific exchange and international collaboration across disciplines, connecting basic research with translational and clinical perspectives. The programme is designed as a medium-sized meeting with a strong emphasis on interaction, discussion, and networking. With an expected attendance of approximately 130 participants, including a carefully selected group of distinguished invited lecturers, the conference will provide an ideal environment for in-depth scientific dialogue. Participation will be encouraged through abstract submission, from which short talks will be selected to complement invited lectures and poster sessions.

We sincerely hope that you will find PARP2027 an exciting and impactful scientific event and that you will consider supporting the conference. Your contribution would play an important role in advancing international scientific collaboration and supporting early-career researchers.

We look forward to the possibility of welcoming you as a supporter of PARP2027.

With kind regards,

Orsolya Leidecker and Gyula Timinszky
on behalf of the PARP2027 Organizing Committee
